Best Time To Visit Italy to Avoid Mosquitos and Visit Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Amalfi Coast?

I'm going on a summer trip across Europe, and realized Italy will not only be too hot, but also filled with mosquitos. I could just deal with it and apply a lot of repellent.

I lived in Florence, Italy for a few months from October-December, and with a plugin thing that was supposed to prevent mosquitos from coming into rooms, and the (very occasional) times in which I saw a mosquito in the house, I had basically 0 bites. Maybe a few in the beginning of October, but I can't remember. I also visited places like Venice, Rome, and Sorrento, and had 0 bites. I don't think I ever saw a mosquito outside.

I'm thinking the best time to visit Italy is November. I prefer cooler weather, and there's no mosquitos. However, I think November is a bad time to visit the 3 areas I listed in the title? If it is, what is a good month to avoid mosquitos and see theses 3 places? I also prefer cold weather over hot weather, but i'll take a hot month if it means no mosquitos.
