So my lifelong dream has been to go to New Zealand. After a very rough past few years and now having a job with awesome pay, I have decided to go. I want to do the north island this year and then next year do the South Island. I don’t have an itinerary yet but I’m planning on arriving in Auckland (from TX) on 9/4 and leaving on the 10th. Should I just buy my ticket now and come up with a plan later? I’m really interested in seeing the landscape more than anything. Any ideas/suggestions are welcome!
