Hi! This is my first post and I checked the community info/FAQ and couldn't find this even when I searched the sub. I apologize if I just didn't look up the right term and this is repetitive.
I'm planning a trip to Europe with my mom and cousin for mid August (we are in New York). We had heard that a lot of places in Europe shut down in August, and I couldn't find a lot of info on how common this is. It sounds like some places are stopping this practice, but I'm not sure. Any input on this would be awesome!
To narrow it down, here are our top 4 options: 1. Florence 2. Rome 3. Zürich 4. Geneva
We are also looking into: 1. Helsinki 2. Oslo 3. Copenhagen 4. Stockholm
