News: Costa Rica names latest national park as conservation drive continues

Costa Rica has declared the Miravalles Volcano National Park-Jorge Manuel Dengo as the country’s 29th national park. The destination’s protected areas now encompass more than a quarter of its land mass, more than any other country in the world.
