7 days to travel...

I have 7 days to travel, is it worth it to fly to Colombia for such a short trip, or should I just go to Mexico City + Oaxaca? Id be flying out from LAX early October

My travel experience includes: 6 months in the Amazon on the Brazilian side, Morocco, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Mexico (including Mexico City) Panama and Hawai’i.

For this trip I would like to my budget to be $1500- $2000 including airfare. My goal for this trip is to be able to do a mix of city life and nature, for example if I were to do Colombia id want to spend some time in Medellin and then fly to Leticia and do some kind of jungle trek, or similarly Cusco to Puerto Maldonado, but I decided that wouldnt be a good idea considering it would take 3 flights. My priority for this vacation is heavily leaning towards adventure versus the city stuff mentioned earlier if that helps you guys at all.

Other travel destinations are also welcome.
