Spent some time in Iceland last month and I have to say it’s the most magical place I’ve ever experienced. I would say Costa Rica is a close second from the diversity of life there, but it’s a lot of the same and more of the same in a way.
However, Iceland just has a majestic quality that will stay with me for life. The diversity of landscapes and the sheer horror of confronting so many raw moments that I could of died with just a wrong step makes it a connecting experience hard to put into words.
I’m wrapping my head around somewhere that might offer as much exotic beauty and diversity and feel other-worldly in a similar climatic scenery.
The first thing that comes to mind is possibly New Zealand. Has anyone been to Iceland and ended up somewhere that fees similar or even close?
I’ll be on a quest to find this for my life and also have no problem going back to Iceland many times as able too!
