Nightmare with flights before I’ve even left; what compensation can I get & how to deal with a-now 20 hour layover (was supposed to be 90 minutes). Should I also claim on travel insurance?

So my flight from London out to Singapore has been moved back 4 hours. My connecting flight (on the same ticket) from Singapore out to Australia however has been moved to the same flight but the following day.

I still intend to fly and get there via whatever flights they offer.

I know I can claim compensation for the London to Singapore flight, assuming it lands 3 hours+ after it was due.

Is there any compensation I can claim for the Singapore - Australia flight? Or can I even claim expenses like a hotel room for the night in Singapore?

I also assume I need to contact my hotel in Australia and let them know I’ll be checking in a day later than planned. Can I claim for the cost of the lost night (or claim on my insurance?).

Just looking for any advice. Thanks!
