Shower thought: You can tell how long someone's been in South East Asia by the way they cross the road.

Do they wait for a gap that never comes, only to cross the street in stuttering steps and frantic glances at oncoming traffic? Or do they look straight ahead and power walk across without a single misstep or hesitation?
