Love Western Europe. We've been all over Italy and France, Belgium, southern Germany, Amsterdam, London, Ireland, etc. We usually like to spend about 50% in smaller towns and almost always drive to the areas.
With that in mind, we'd like to plan a rail only trip in Western Europe for next summer. I've always wanted to visit Switzerland but I don't want to spend a fortune do maybe just a couple days there.
Any plans that you've done or would like to do just using rail?
