Visiting DC in a couple weeks, thinking of going there for law school. What can I do that isn’t super touristy?
As the title says, I’m looking at some schools in DC for law school. I’m visiting over Columbus Day weekend and while I’m there I’ll be visiting American, George Washington, and probably Georgetown.
I want to do some things that locals would do on a typical weekend/early week - I’ll get there Friday night and leave Tuesday at some point. I’m staying at a hotel in Arlington across from Georgetown, I think. I can’t afford to stay long enough to really get a feel for it and there are obviously some of the typical tourist attractions I want to see (been there 4 times and still haven’t gone through all the Smithsonian museums somehow), but I want to add in some things that might give me a taste of what it’s like to live there.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, touristy or not.
