i want to solo travel but have no clue where to go any help will be appreciated (first time abroad)

Hi i am 19 from Liverpool in the UK and have never left my city, my family has always been poor so we could never afford to go away. But i have been saving up money for a while but i still have no one to go with and i wanted some advice on where to go/ what to do, preferably in Europe i love history so i want to visit landmarks and museums and tips or recommendations will be greatly appreciated
