About 6 months ago, I moved into a role where I travel for work every single week ~3 Days on average. I’m booking air travel (mostly Southwest, otherwise whatever airline gets me there more efficiently), hotels (hotels.com as I don’t like to maintain loyalties), and rental cars all the time. I’m eating out 2-3 meals a day. All told I’m spending/expensing at least $2,000 per week for work, or ~$100k annually. This is solely work travel expense. I currently have an Amex Everyday card, and Amex recently tried to sell me their Gold Card touting this would get me the most value considering my current spend habits. I currently have a great credit score, so this got me thinking, is there a better one I should get?
