Hi, I'm trying to book a flight for a relative to fly to the US and there is a 1hr55min layover in Taoyuan with Eva Air. I have flown into Taoyuan before but it wasn't a layover so I'm not exactly sure what their layover process is like. Does anyone have experience with the layover process for Taoyuan, is 1hr55min enough?
I assume it would just be immigration paperwork for Taoyuan but I'm not sure because I have had bad experience with a 6 hour layover in the Philippines where they had to search everyone's bag before checking it in again and went through another like 3 security checkpoints.
My relative has never flown such a long flight before (Asia to JFK), and know very minimal English (she knows how to use Google Translate if needed at the airport though).
Any insights will be appreciated!
