So you may have seen my previous post about my roommate and I planning a trip to London. We haven't done anything yet as far as finding accomodation and already there's conflict. I'm a low-maintence person. I need a bed and preferably wifi and I'm good. I will stay in hostels, airbnb, etc. I want to save money wherever I can. My roommate is high-maintenance. Wants to stay in really nice hotel, absolutely refuses to consider a hostel, and is even asking that we extend the trip an extra 4 days. I told her I don't think I can afford that, but she said, "Well we were already talking about 10 days what's an another few days?" If this was my only trip for the year then it wouldn't really be an issue, but I have another trip planned for summer so I have to be conservative with my money. I'm afraid more issues like this will pop up. How do you suggest handling this?
