Hey all. My sister and I bought roundtrip tickets to Athens for all of the month of December and were planning to just take it slow and travel around Greece for a month. Looking at the price of airbnb's, hostels and food....Istanbul is looking pretty tempting.
We fly out of Crete to thessaloniki (after seeing Athens, Delphi, napflio and Myceana in the first two weeks) and the flight from Crete to thessaloniki is the same price as a ticket to Istanbul.
Are interest ate history, architecture, museums, scenery and culture. We dont care for night life of sports.
Anyone think doing a week in Istanbul is better than a week up in northern Greece?
