I've been reading travel blogs for ever. You get something out of most of them, many of them are a mix of amazing, inspiring and jealousy-inducing. In fact, I've recently become basically a permanent expat/digital nomad at least party due to these.
One thing that drives me nuts, though, is the fact that most blogs don't seem to have their locations plotted on a map. This goes for travel blogs and food blogs, which I read quite a bit of when I'm researching a destination or just even food options.
Just as a simple example, when I'm going to a new city, I'll read a bunch of blogs, think "oh these (x, y, z) thing are cool, but then it still takes me a while to think about where this things are... which would help me decide where I might want to stay. This problem compounds the more locations I am interested in.
So, I'm usually left either very confused as to what's where, or multi-windowing it going back and forth furiously to see what's where and then trying to remember where all these locations were... wtf bloggers?
Why don't bloggers just plot these locations on google maps more often (cuz I've seen that), and falling short of that... is there a way that I can easily plot a bunch of locations on a map?
