Hi everyone, looking to pick your brains on a potential Morocco itinerary.
Me and a couple of buddies are looking to go to Morocco for a week in March after 3 days in London. I've done some research reading previous threads/travel blogs and it seems that Marrakesh is great but Fez offers a similar experience but with more authenticity. We are set on going to Chefchaouen and figure it might make more sense to stick with that and Fez for our short trip to cut down on additional travel costs / times.
My question to those of you who have been to all these cities is are we doing ourselves a disservice of skipping Marrakesh? We are already planning to skip Casablanca as we have heard it is not exactly a "must see." Also, if you have any addition tips/recommendations for our trip please feel free to share!
For additional background, we are in guys in our mid 20s that are really up for anything including but not limited to exploring the streets/medinas, hiking, food, and photography.
Thanks!
