He is torn between Norway and Portugal. Im throwing Northern Italy/ Germany/ Eastern France loop into the pot as well as far as choices. He has been to Ireland and Iceland. We loved Iceland. Did the whole ring. Neither one of us has been to either Portugal or Norway. Ive been through that north Italy/ Austria/Germany area on the Eurail but never stopped or stayed besides a weekend in Venice. He is not about running non stop to see a million things (I am the notorious for that) and we dont want to spend alot of time in large cities. Usually after landing we stay the night in the big city, catch the highlights and split the next day for the scenic road trip with stops along the way. We do the occasional cave tour, museum, ghost tour, maybe a segway tour . The usual tourist stuff. We like beach and or mountains (light hiking)but we live and work on the beach in Florida so that beach needs to be impressive. He tends to prefer mountains , just from his trip to Iceland and recently New Mexico. Me Ive been to alot of the big cities. Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London, Rome, Napoli, Capri, Barcelona. Most of the big spots. Really I’m up for either one of these. But since he has been to Ireland and Iceland maybe Norway is too similar and we should mix it up for him? Do any of you have experiences in these places we are thinking about visiting? Favorites? Oh we only have 10 nights. We got Marriott points we want to use but not necessarily the whole time. We are going end of May. Thanks!
