I'm travelling to Croatia in June and considering catching a ferry to Venice for a few nights before returning. I've always wanted to visit Venice and I'm not going to have another chance for at least 5 years.
Do you think it's worth the hassle for only 2-3 nights? Unfortunately my itinerary doesn't give me much leeway. The ferry looks like it will be about €70-80 and takes 3-4 hours from Rovinj.
