I had a rough time talking with a European tonight because they could not fathom only spending a few days in a place. I get it, but I get 10 days off a year (including Christmastime minus the 25th) and if I want to travel more than once a year short trips are my only option. It’s very frustrating explaining that to someone who gets over a month paid time off and looks down on not “immersing” yourself in a place.
Just venting more than anything. USA is so far behind the rest of the world in so many ways.
