I'm hoping to do a personal writing retreat in March, but not in some isolated cabin. I have a lot of bigger cities on my list, mostly in the southeast and southwest (due to weather), but wondering if there are interesting little towns I have no idea exist.
Generally, I like: good local food & interesting cuisines, places people call artsy/quirky/eclectic, history, craft beer, and natural views (mountains, seaside, etc).
Any ideas?
