Im planning a ~3 week trip to Europe with 4 of my friends. Our current plan is to fly into Spain first, where we already have a place to stay. We are going to stay there for about a week. Then what we wanted to do is visit Lisbon, Portugal and Amsterdam. Probably Portugal first as its a good bit closer, especially from where we are in Spain. We will probably take a train to Portugal and Amsterdam unless there's a better option? We will be renting a car for our week in Spain but im not sure if you're able to take a rental car out of the country. Also would it be expensive to fly from Portugal/spain to Amsterdam?
Also is an Airbnb a better option than a hotel in Portugal and or Amsterdam?
what are some recommendations for things to do in Lisbon and Amsterdam? We are all 19-20 years old. We are thinking of staying in Lisbon for 5 days, and then probably 7-9 in Amsterdam.
