What to do for half a day in Athens?

Hello, I’m an eighteen year old boy who’s going to Athens this March on a study trip with my entire high school class and a couple of teachers.

Most of the activities that we are going to do while in Athens are already planned out by our teachers, but me and my classmates have got to plan an activity between breakfast and lunch one of the days that we’re there.

Even though we’ve had roughly 2 months to plan this out, no one from my class knows the city very well (we’re from Northern Europe), and therefore we have had zero suggestions for activities so far, with only a week until takeoff.

Therefore, it would be much appreciated if Reddit could help us out, so we don’t stand in Greece with no plan in front of our teachers, who’s put loads of time and effort into making a nice schedule for our trip. This plan includes sights such as Delphi, the Acropolis, Kerameikos, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the island of Aegina, agora and Pnyx.

I’ll be looking forward to some good ideas. The activity does not have to be free, and they may include an online booking, as long as it’ll be possible to get reservations in early March.

Thank you very much!
