Air Transat simply not responding to customers

My gf had a flight booked last Saturday from Montreal to Paris. France and Canada announces some extreme border measures, leading her to believe that she had to leave Canada ASAP before they start cancelling flights.

Air Transat literally shut down their phone lines. The phones were dead. Their website said to make a change to your flight, fill out a contact form and a representative will contact you in a certain amount of DAYS.

So she booked the same Air Transat flight for the next day (Wednesday) and got to France. Saturday’s flight ended up not being cancelled.

She kept screenshots of the contact form. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to try to get a refund for the flight on Saturday? Can’t do it through credit card because technically the airline did provide the service she paid them for.
