Hello travel friends! I have read through alot of reddit posts and online reviews and haven't found the information I am looking for, so I hope I can find some answers here. My partner and I booked 10 nights in French Polynesia this fall and are a bit lost on where to spend our time. We enjoy adventure, nature, and cultural experiences. We are NOT interested in staying at a resort and not interested in Bora Bora. We would prefer airbnb's or pensions and travelling in less populated areas. As of right now we are staying the first and last night in Tahiti and 4 nights in Rangiora. However, we are not locked down. We are interested in visiting Maupiti (but flights are limited and we could only stay for 2 nights), Huahine, Fakarava (staying at Raimiti), or Mo'orea. We do like to hike so I think that favors Maupiti and Mo'orea. Please let me know your input! Thank you in advance
