Hey guys and girls
I am planning a trip to Vietnam and will be staying there for a month.(That's what I get on a tourist visa)
I would like to rent a small place for around 200usd in Hanoi, in a decent location. Doesn't have to be in center but close?
The concern is the short rent. Do people rent out for a month? And what is the process... do I have to pay deposit and other fees? Or renting out places is common for such a short time?

I don't want to rent a hotel as they are general too expensive and I am not sure if I'd be able to bring friends over without reception asking for id's or extra money for the guests(Vietnamese, guys or girls)
Have some one rented for a month in Vietnam or Hanoi? Please advise
