Love beautiful trails, weird environments, interacting with animals, natural spectacles etc
Swamp gator tours? Manatees somewhere? Somehow going into the Gulf of Mexico? Fanboat in the Everglades?
I have never been east of the Mississippi, but have lived and traveled extensively in all parts of western North America. I brought this up with a New Orleans native and they just laughed -- "there's no nature like you think of nature in the south. It's poor people and private property"
