Me and 4 friends are looking for a nice outdoorsy getaway somewhere quiet and away from others this July. We're pretty flexible and just want something less than a 10-12 hour drive from Philadelphia. Since this is pretty vague it's proving to be hard to look for options so figured I'd see if anyone stayed at a specific bnb they love or had thoughts about a nice area to stay where we could manage to be by any type of body of water while not around too many others. Some options we were thinking about were western NC, eastern TN, upstate NY, Vermont, or Maine. Pretty open to anywhere with enough space for five, less than $200 a night, and preferably at least some of the following amenities: hot tub, fire pit, porch, etc. If anyone knows a great spot that would fit this description please let me know!
