I am a 16 yr old living in America. I’m a closeted homosexual, but I’ve been open online. I’m traveling to Uganda on a missions trip soon; is it safe for me to go?

I’ve never thought about this before, but I just had the urge to check the LGBT rights legality status in Uganda, and it is shamefully very illegal. I am going soon on a missions trip (supposed to be this summer) and I am a bit scared about how safe I would be if I went, despite being closeted. Any advice?
