If I need to fly somewhere immediately right now, is it more cost effective to buy a ticket online or buy a standby one at airports?
I need to fly from Toronto to San Francisco on necessary business next week, unfortunately. I can expense a one way ticket to San Francisco, but need to buy the one way ticket back.
I may need to be in San Francisco for 1 to 5 nights, and want to return immediately to Toronto. I'm unsure of the duration of my stay so I'm wondering if I should either look for a ticket online the night I'm leaving, or if it would be more effective for me to show up at the airport and see if I can buy a ticket at the counter.
First time doing something like this, so any advice is helpful.
