Getting a job in South America

I’m looking into living in a Spanish speaking country on a small budget next summer to improve my Spanish and experience life in a new culture.

While there, I hope to acquire a job to make some money, feel like a part of society, and be immersed in daily life. How likely would it be for me to find a job in a country with conversational Spanish skills and little else to offer?
