Backstory (I will try to be brief but I’m honestly having a panic attack as I type. Thank you for reading.) My bf has planned a trip for us and it’s very sweet. We will leave tomorrow evening- I work until then- and head to St. Louis, MO. We are going sightseeing and I don’t know a lot about St. Louis, tbh. Also, I’m a planner. I stalk cities I’m about to visit. I know where to find the best bakeries and coffee shops near our hotel and can lead you there by foot as if I LIVE there. And I’m not talking about Starbucks! I look for the good bars with the craft hipster beers that I love so much. I look for the local businesses. I don’t know anything in St. Louis. I know I could GOOGLE it but I like honest suggestions from people here who may know something Google doesn’t. BTW, my bf doesn’t plan, so please know that he doesn’t know where to go either. That another reason for the panic.
My question-
Can someone please recommend the good local places to support? Coffee, food, bar are a definite need, but I’d love to check out local shops as well.
