Hi!
Experienced traveler/expat here looking for any insight on entrance into Portugal for American citizens currently. It seems according to my research via various publications (Lonely Planet, New York Times etc) + chatting with other American friends who have cleared the boarder that Portugal is admitting American citizens currently. Although, with the potential EU wide ban today...it seems that could be changing or at least less clear on 7/1.
I have been stuck in a weird in-between here in America as my New Zealand visa expired right before the pandemic took off, flights were grounded and my significant other being in Portugal (not married). I am aware of the the risk etc of traveling currently. I have been in self quarantine in anticipation of travel, wear a mask, social distance etc.
So, here is my question -- I currently have a flight to Porto set for July 8th although I CAN fly as early as this Friday to get ahead of any EU restrictions, if needed. Any insight? Thanks.
