A couple of Scary travel stories

Ok so we’re going to Zanzibar Tanzania. After 15 days of intense safari and travelling all across Kenya I decided to spend 7 days in a 5 star hotel in Zanzibar, they have a really nice private beach and I decide to take a swim, 10 min in the water, I feel the most excrutinating pain I’ve ever felt, I yell for help and they rescue me, I eventually get rescued and 1 hour in 30 mins later I am in a Zanzibar private hospital which wasn’t very bad and they tell me that I got stung by a blue bottle jellyfish, which is one of the most dangerous and deadliest jellyfish in the entire world. Long story short, I had to get tentacles of the jellyfish out of my back with tweezers and had to take multiple hot baths in order to treat it. In the end I knocked out 4 days in the hospital and they told me that they were amazed since in that day water was warm which makes this kind of jellyfish more deadly and they were also confused that I did not have any sort of paralysis during the treatment since I got stung near my spinal cord. Rest of the stay was amazing and I am considering going back to Zanzibar

On to the next story. We are coming back from South Africa around 3 years ago, it was a 24h long flight because of the many stops to get to Madrid. Mid flight there is an automatic alert in the screen that the plane was hijacked and we have to hope for the best, I was really scared and texted my family that the plane was getting hijacked and that I loved them everything, but we make it to Madrid, and nothing did take place. It was a false alarm caused by the alert on the screen that acidentally triggered itself. It was a really big relief and I got safely in my house

Hope you enjoyed reading trough.
