Just got the notification that my u.s. passport is being sent out! Call your local congress representative

Just like a ton of other people, I’ve been waiting for my passport and I applied around 10 weeks ago. Ran across a few people that suggested me to contact my local rep, so that’s what I did!

I filled out a privacy waiver form and in about 2 days I had someone contact me from the agency my passport was at. They charged me an overnight shipping fee of 17 dollars and now it’s on the way. Some of you aren’t in a rush to receive your passport, but I needed mine for a family issue that isn’t considered life or death.

Just figured I’d give out this piece of advice because people were nice enough to inform me, So hopefully this helps someone else out there!
