Where is the best place to visit in early November? (Obviously not this year)

2021 (assuming travel is safe again) my husband and I are going on a honeymoon/vacation in early November.

We live in Canada and have been mostly around the country. We aren't really interested in visiting the states and I have been around the states a lot too.

I was thinking Ireland but I did some googling and apparently the days are super short. Does anyone know if the days are short like days in Canada in November are short or are they short like days in Alaska/the Northwest Territories are short?

My husband doesn't really like visiting anywhere hot, so anywhere tropical is pretty much out too.

France is pretty much the top of my list so far but I have been to France and I kinda want to go somewhere I haven't been before.

So best places to visit in November?
