I'm in my mid/late 20s and looking to travel with my girlfriend in November (something like the 4th through the 18th or so, though we're completely flexible). We both live in NYC and would like to take advantage of the fact that we are both working remotely and get somewhere out of the city that is quiet and peaceful with opportunities to hike and enjoy the foliage but not totally off the grid. We're looking at upstate NY and Vermont/New Hampshire right now but I wonder if it'll be too cold in those spots by the time we are able to travel. We're pretty flexible budget-wise, maybe $100 per day-ish depending on the length of the trip. Any recommendations for this cabin vibes trip would be greatly appreciated!
