Cheapoair CS was literally trying to scam me!

Booked a flight for Christmas via Cheapoair.

First mistake! After booking I realized I could've paid $45 less if I booked it via airline website directly. But no worries.

Got a call from Cheapoair seconds after booking.

The guy kept saying that "your ticket is confirmed but your seat isn't confirmed... you need to pay $57 to confirm your seat".

Obviously I said I'm good, I don't need to book a seat...

He emphasized that "In the months of November and December, confirming ticket isn't enough. You have to confirm your seat now otherwise you'll have to pay extra to confirm your seat later because airline are removing seat due to the current situation and travel restriction"

(To just make sure he was BSing me I went to airline website and booked my seats for free!)

He literally was trying to make me believe that booking a seat is mandatory!! Pure scamming strategy! I'm shocked! I travel a lot and book flights every months for my job. Cheapoair is literally trying to scam now! I'm an old and frequent customer!
