I’m leaving for Brazil where my spouse is from to travel and meet his family. I’m freaking tf out cause I’ve never left the US before. I’m trying to keep an open mind, he’s from the north and lives in a good part of the city. I’m just really nervous to be uncomfortable and anxious the entire time, I’m so used to traveling around America and essentially feeling safe everywhere I went. I’m sorry if I sound ignorant, I’ve literally never traveled outside of the US and don’t know exactly what to expect. What was everyone else’s first experience out of the country? Make me feel better pls!
