I've never had a holiday outside of the country (UK) and I think it's about time I started to change that.

I've spent most of my life indoors safe for going to parks in my spare time. If I wanted to organise a holiday to the US just by myself, what would I need to consider? E.g. visa, hotels, transport, cost etc.

Sorry about the vagueness. I am new to travelling.
