Looking for a good island / beach to go to with my boyfriend that is open and hopefully a good bargain

We are open to the Bahamas or any of the Caribbean islands. We are looking for something pretty affordable. Really my boyfriend just wants a beautiful beach to walk along. We want to stay for about a week. I haven’t ever been anywhere in the Caribbean. I’m open to other tropical locales as well as long as they are pretty safe and affordable. Haven’t checked airfare and don’t even know if we can fly into most of these places, and it would be next month which is probably a bad weather time but could push it up to Nov or Dec too for better weather. We would be flying from the Seattle area. Thanks in advance.
