Where to go around the end of October for something sight seeing or outdoors?

I plan on taking a small vacation around the end of October.

I've decided not to do anything indoor related due to the pandemic, also don't want to spend the money on camping.

What are some good states to visit for sights? Caves, land marks, monuments etc.

These are the states I am considering since they are closer than others and will be somewhat warm when I go:

South Carolina

Georgia

Alabama

Mississippi

Arkansas

Louisiana

Oklahoma

Texas
