Need to buy GPS that doesn't rely on being connected to the car power. Any recommendations?

Hello. First off, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I'm just trying to get advice from the best places I can find. I live in Australia, Melbourne. My car's power outlet thing doesn't work. I need a GPS that I guess I can change at home, and then take on a trips.

Could anyone offer me some recommendations, or possibly advice on what I should be looking for/looking up? I would prefer something not too expensive, but of course, it needs to work.
