I recently went through a major breakup and I just want to be alone for a while to work on myself. I took some time off work and took a week long road trip from IL to DC, VA, NC, GA, and TN. It was a great experience because I got to get away from my everyday hustle and bustle and I got to see different cities and cultures and vibes and to really think about my life and what I was doing. I have some time off for the holidays and am thinking about jumping on an Amtrak and just traveling to different cities. I don't want to go international yet as I am finishing the last bit of my student loans and I want to save that experience as a reward for myself. I want to know if anyone has ever done anything like that or if you had some advice for me.
