Flying with a cold

Hey guys, I'm taking a 3h flight in 2 days and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for flying with a recent cold/fever?

Or well, I'm currently getting over the said cold, which has lasted for a few days (negative tested for covid, just FYI). What I'm experiencing right now is a running/clogged nose, and slight throat discomfort.

I know I'm being all wuss but I've struggled in the past with my ears whilst flying, so my concern now is if this cold (although I expect it to be over by then) could contribute to more discomfort and perhaps pain. Unfortunately I can't pressure equalize (?) and I've tried earplanes in the past but things got worse instead..
