I have heard that it is best to leave your passport book in your hotel when traveling abroad. I was considering getting a US passport card to use as ID when the passport book is not required.
Has anyone done this?
What forms of ID are accepted in the countries you’ve visited and in what situations ( I.e. bars, stores, restaurants)
