Worth going to less-crowded beaches of Florida in Early March VS going all the way to Miami where it's warm?

I just assumed all of Florida was warm in early March...

We were planning on less touristy beaches like Anna Marie, Lido, near longboat key. However, looking at projections, it's only 70-75deg in early March. Which seems too cold.

I'm from Indy, and last Aug when going to Lake Michigan, we had to plan for 75deg+ otherwise it would've been too cold.

So the alternative is going to Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Hollywood, etc area where it's warmer.... But I'm Afraid it's back to being busy. UNLESS those times are less busy the first 1-2 weeks of March? We would go during the week. Sunday-Wed/Thursday likely.
