Anyone feel like they won't be able to travel this year?

Hi All,
Im hoping things open up to be able to travel, but there are certain things right now that have me doubting whether I will be able to travel this year. First off, my work requires me to be in office to do my job. My job has been strict on quarantine rules recently as well. A co-worker decided not to go home for Thanksgiving because the company told him he would have to quarantine for two weeks for leaving the state. I have been told to quarantine for two weeks (even if I get a negative test back) because I was in contact with someone for about an hour and this person discovered a few days later he is positive.

I had a few trips plan, but now I'm thinking even if things are looking better, there is a chance my company may tell me that I would have to quarantine if I travel. I know I could just stay quiet, but I would feel bad if something happened and it's a really good job and I wouldn't want to lose it over me being irresponsible. I also know a few people who have had to cancel trips because their jobs are telling them the same thing.

Im worried that even if states/countries start to open up travel, companies may get a little too worried about their employees getting infected at site and will continue to require people to quarantine if they travel even after restrictions are lifted. I hope this doesn't happen and that I am making something out of nothing.

Does anybody else feel they won't be able to travel this year?
