Can you have both Global Entry and TSA Pre?

I recently submitted a global entry renewal, but realized afterwards that there is a huge backlog. I am considering also applying for TSA pre. I already have KTN, and was wondering if that would give any issues with TSA pre?

Has anyone applied to both Global Entry and TSA Pre before?

Edit: I know global entry includes tsa precheck. That is not the question. My global entry expired already, hence the renewal. I would like to get tsa precheck expedited, hence applying for TSA Pre.
