Thinking of taking this train in mid-September and killing a couple of days somewhere en route. I won't have a car and availability of a cheap hostel, airbnb or couchsurfing is a must. My interests are: galleries, street art, live music, bars, and hikes or city walks. Providence seems to be the most obvious choice, thanks to its RISD-related creative scene, but I thought I'd check in and see if there's another gem along this route? TIA.
